Dennis has well over 20 years of backcountry travel experience including remote alpine rock climbing trips, backcountry skiing, mountain biking and multi-day back packing trips. Dennis has several years of outdoor adventure retail management and climbing guide experience. Working for two well known and respected outdoor retailers, Dennis has the knowledge of proper backcountry equipment, resources, client relations and safety, guiding, and Leave No Trace principles while following company policy and procedures.
In 2010, Dennis purchased a small herd of pack llamas to begin backcountry llama packing and training.
Dennis recently completed the Sweetwater Guide School for fly fishing which included how to interact with clients, how to instruct fly fishing, what guests expect of you, and, of course, how to get them into fish. Dennis is CPR and First Aid certified.
Anna M Genest
Anna Genest is a nutritional educator and herbalist with experience coaching and teaching students and clients about well informed health choices for their lifestyle and health goals. Her background in nutrition, human anatomy and pathology and the traditional and native uses of Rocky Mountain plants and flowers.
Anna is fueled by her passion clean health, living and nature. She considers herself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on her nutritional foundations in plant and food medicine and stay in tune with the latest science and field study through continued coursework.
Anna has studies nutrition and herbs at Montana State University, Institute for Integrative Nutrition, The Blue Crescent School of Botanical Medicine and Heartwood Academy. She as apprenticed with fine Herbalists and has taught at Health Works Institute and leading her own business coaching clients and meeting their personalized goals.
Her desire to promote a healthy lifestyle and help others with their dietary needs and goals has contributed to her ongoing support as Montana Llama Guide’s meal planner and lead support team member. Through this she will keep the guests energy high and their stomachs full!
Anna believes in mindfulness and a deep respect for plants, animals and our impact on the environment. She lives this out through her interests in being in the outdoors and nature, meditation, rock hounding, crafting, working with children, animal and plant care and reading.
